Are there ANY safe diet pills or herbal substitutes that are safe to use in pregnancy? I was previously taking slim fx diet pills, then Adios, until I found out I was pregnant. Now my weight is ballooning as it has with my previous two pregnancies. Although this pregnancy was totally unintentional, i am not prepared to put the unborn child at risk hence stopping the other diet pills. Does anyone know of any which are safe to use in pregnancy? If so, do you know why? I know its not apropriate to diet during pregnancy, I am not talking about losing weight, i just want to maintain it, something I find hard to do the second i am pregnant. What was the reason that Thyroxine was used in diet pills? In the early twentieth century thyroxine was included in diet pills but since then has been banned. I am trying to figure out what the reasoning was for including it in the first place other than enhancing as persons metabolism.

Diet Pills? I'm on a diet but I'm taking hydroxycut hardcore. I have a very low metabolism so it's very difficult for me to lose weight just by eating healthy and exercising. I've read a lot of opinions saying that this stuff doesnt work but then again I heard that diet pills dont work on some people. The guy at the GNC took Hydroxycut Hardcore and did NO exercise whatsoever and lost 40 lbs in 3 weeks. I'd just like to know some opinions and expiriences if you have taken this.

Diet Pills? Please be careful what you take. Even over the counter diet pills can be fatal. If you are taking ANY over the counter medicine, it can react with any over the counter medicine. I had a friend who started taking diet pills and it interacted with her blood pressure meds..... she died from it. The best way to lose weight is to drink lots of water, watch the calorie counts and get a little extra movement in each day. Thanks for listening.

I cant remember what they were called but she lost a tremendous amount of weight (she wasnt fat she was just a little overweight) She was switched over to a different diet pill when these stopped working... something about they were short-term.
