  1. Any real diet pills (as opposed to the kind sold on TV) will raise your metabolism with stimulants. That means you could be jittery or you could have heart rhythm issues. But it depends on what you're taking.
  2. Well the weight loss pill normally are herbal. I have used many "Xenadrine", hydroxycut. Nowadays they don't have epedhra (health regulations). They work, but only for a limited time. Maybe a month or so, after which your body becomes immune and you don't get any effects of the weight loss pills. It does not matter even if you take them one month after or a year after. That is my experience That is one side effect. You may lose weight but then you tend to put it on again. Also it has to be combined with exercise. The second side effect is you get wired because of the caffeine in the pills. Hence use them with care.
  3. yes most do! try a good diet and 30 minutes a day excercise or activites. it works!
  4. I take prescription weight loss pills, phentermine. In February I worked out 4 hours a week, and drank slim-fast for 10 of my 19 meals a week. I lost 7 lbs. (not bad) In March I did the same thing but with Phentermine. I lost 18 lbs. So that's 25 lbs in 2 months. The side effects I'm having are: hard to fall asleep, don't sleep very long, hot flashes mid-afternoon, thirsty. It is a form of amphetamine--speed--and is addictive. After a few months it stops working--and right about then is when you get addicted so STOP for a few months, maintain your weight loss with diet and exercise and then try it again. But go to your doctor, get checked out first, make sure your body can handle being on speed for 3-6 months. Don't bother with the over the counter and sold on TV crap. I've tried so many, they don't work, it's just a money-making scheme. Phentermine is only about $35 a month, less than TrimSpa and Leptoprin and many others and IT WORKS unlike the others. Lots of info on this on my blog. ps Phentermine is NOT the same as Fen-Phen. Don't be mislead by the ignorant who keep posting that.
